LAFS: Church´s, the ladies collection store
As some of you are aware Church´s ladies shoes are one of my favorites and I couldn´t believe when I was noticed the english brand (owned by Prada) would open its first ladies collection shop in one of the best places where could be: Bond Street. The new brand will be in front of the new Maison Louis Vuitton and next to the new Dior store. As you can appreciate on the picture the future store is under construction and it will be opened very soon.
I wish all my best to that new project and I am pretty sure Church´s ladies shoes will become also one of your ”must” if they are not already!

Ahora que vuelve con fuerza la feminidad de los vestidos con cinturas marcadas (los recordáis en lo último de Prada?), estampados años cincuenta, el punto lolita y el DIY…no nos puede faltar como complemento una Diadema Bombon de las artesanas de asturias Niña Bonita. LAFS: Waistcoat by Ness
New LAFS (Love At First Sight) incoming!
I discovered the scottish brand Ness few days ago in Canary Wharf Shopping Centre (London) stand and I couldn´t believe what had come across: plenty of bright coloured tweed bags, wallets, coin purses, flower corsages…for those who love tweed or checked patterns or even Vivienne Westwood´s style that should be one of your must! I particular loved the Skye SS10 waistcoat:
LAFS: Balenciaga vintage sunglasses
Un nuevo LAFS (Love At First Sight) ha acaparado mi atención esta semana. Lo encontré en Mint Vintage Clothing (Covent Garden). Estas maravillosas gafas vintage de Balenciaga datan de 1988 aproximadamente y su precio es de 220 libras. Me recuerdan muchísimo (no digo que sean iguales) a las que lucen Katherine Parker (Sigourney Weaver) y Tess McGill (Melanie Griffith) en “Armas de Mujer”. ¿Qué os parecen? ¿Os recuerdan a las que lucen las dos actrices en la peli ? Por cierto, no olvidéis pasaros por el Mint Vintage Clothing blog !
I have got a new LAFS (Love At First Sight) from Mint Vintage Clothing (Covent Garden). That lovely Balenciaga´s vintage sunglasses reminds me those ones owned by Katherine Parker (Sigourney Weaver) in “Working Girl” and also weared by Tess McGill (Melanie Griffith) in the same movie. They are quite different but I can´t stop thinking in that movie when I see them! Do you like them? Do you think that sunglasses are similar to the movie ones? LAFS: Victorian Bath
Mi LAFS (Love At First Sight) de esta semana lo dedico a esta maravillosa bañera. Debo admitir que me encanta el estilo victoriano en todas sus vertientes: arquitectura, cerámica, decoración, ilustración, arte o moda. Pienso que vivir y adaptarse a una ciudad como Londres implica que de una manera u otra este estilo te atraiga especialmente o, por lo menos, que no te moleste.
La bañera que os muestro forma parte del catálogo de la firma Victorian Bathrooms (Sí, yo también me quedé de piedra cuando descubrí a una empresa que se dedica exclusivamente a promocionar mobiliario sanitario de estilo victoriano!)
Aquí os muestro la bañera que algún día estará en medio de mi comedor ;D
LAFS: Paramua, shoes on line!
Last week I got a new LAFS (Love At First Sight) I would love to share with all of you: PARAMUA, a new exciting shoe shop on-line is born and I have to admit I fell completely in love!. Why? The reasons are obvious: the creator is Be Trendy My Friend, one of the top´s spanish leaders fashion blogs, so the good taste on the selection is guaranteed and the second reason is the shoes advertised in there are made in the best spanish shoe makers zone: Alicante.
Shoe expertisers are aware how important is that zone for the quality of the leathers and the long term experience in the footwear industry. One of my prettiest ballerinas were purchased in 2005 in Alicante and I should admit they satisfy both quality and fashion design. So I am happy from now on I will be able to buy more of those sweeties through PARAMUA !
